Do you need to change the financial year end date in your Sage Accounts program?
This should only ever be done on the advice of your accountant as the year end at companies house also needs changing and all the financial reports will be converted and possibly lost

Why would you be changing your year end?,
Sometimes to coincide with the general tax year or your accountant may advise this for tax benefits.
Generally the year end does NOT change unless there are very good reasons.
How to change the financial year date in Sage
In order to do this you must have at least Sage 50 Accounts Plus, you cannot change the year end date using Sage Instant Accounts, Sage Instant Accounts Plus or Sage 50 Accounts.

You don’t want to buy to lesser product and find it does not do what you need it to but likewise there is no point in spending almost

You cannot upgrade Sage 50 version 7 through to version 13 directly to version 16, 17 or 18.
First you need to upgrade to either version 14 or version 15 and then from there upgrade to v16, 17 or 18.
